8 Days – Persian Art Tour- Based on Temporary Art

on the first day we will meet at the National Museum starting from the roots of Iranian prehistoric artistic bases. Afterwards we will walk to the Street of United Nations, where Iran commenced a presentation of its modernization on the remnants of its history. We gain a sense of transformation into Iranian Modernism in the time of Pahlavis. Visiting Malek National Museum is our last destination with a focus on pre-Modern happening of Iranian Art in the Qadjar era.

Visiting Niyavarn and Sad Abad Palaces to get a sense of modernization in Iranian Art and the Western rich collection of the Queen

Visiting Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. Having Lunch and touring the sculpture yard of the museum. In the Afternoon Going to the Iranian Artists House/Forum, visiting the exhibition, having a presentation on contemporary Iranian art.

Visiting Artist  Associa tion House  and a workshop on Iranian Art and  Meeting with some Artists. In the afternoon touring the city to get a sense on how various forms of contemporary art has found its place in the capital’s urban face

Flying to Isfahan. We will visit the Naqsh-e-Jahan square have a nice local lunch at a traditional restaurant and then visiting the grand Bazar

We will visit the palaces of Ali Qapu, Chehel Sotun and then gather at the contemporary art museum of Isfahan having a workshop on Contemporary Art of Isfahan.

Flying back Tehran. Free day; going around the town (cultural programs such as music or sightseeing is offered)/ or we might as well go to some leading galleries
